2007 Hills & Thrills Hotel Information

Cathedral of Learning The Official Hotel for the 2007 Hills & Thrills is the Holiday Inn Select University Center in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

We have negotiated a great rate that includes parking for $109 a night. You must reserve before May 10th for the discounted rate and you must give them the booking code HIL. The best part is that you are welcome to come early and stay late with that same rate. The hotel has promised that rate from May 31st through June 3rd. Now you have no reason not to bring your family and friends and explore our wonderful city!

Location

Holiday Inn Select hotel The Holiday Inn Select University Center is located in the heart of Oakland - the cities educational and medical hub. This is one of Pittsburghs most exciting places to be. The hotel is less than a block from the famous Cathedral of Learning and just beyond the Cathedral lies Schenley Park, The Carnegie Museum, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, and a host of amazing places to shop and dine.

If you are bringing friends and family that don't skate we have a ton of activities that they will no doubt enjoy. Aside from those listed above you can find a great deal of things to see and do on the Pittsburgh page.

About The Hotel

Holiday Inn Select hotel The Holiday Inn Select University Center has a newly remodeled lobby, indoor pool, and guest rooms. Those skaters who were at Hills and Thrills in 2001 will remember this hotel as our host location. Parking is normally $17 a night but thanks to the great deal they've given us for Hills and Thrills your parking is included in the $109 per night charge.

The map to the right is a searchable giude to the things in and around the hotel. If you want to find where the closest 7-11 is (about 2 blocks) or where the best pub is (about 2 1/2 blocks) this is your ticket. Oh yeah, and you can also use it to figure out how to get to the hotel.

The hotel is not hard to find. If you fly or drive as long as you drive towards the city you will be able to find the Cathedral of Learning and the hotel is just off of 5th Ave. on Lytton Ave. which faces the Cathedral.
